DISTRICT GOALS - Fairfield's "Path to Excellence"

Superintendent's Message

K McCoy

Greetings Fairfield Local Community!

I hope that everyone has had a memorable summer and are making the most of the
remaining days.

It is my pleasure to welcome you to the start of the 2022-2023 school year. I consider it a true honor to be appointed as the Superintendent of Fairfield Local School District and am very excited to start serving the district in this role.

Fairfield Local administrators, teachers and staff have put in a lot of work this summer to make sure we are ready for a successful school year. Together they have hired 15 new employees, attended multiple professional development opportunities and upgraded our facilities.

Besides being greeted by some new faces this year, Fairfield Local students will get to have the opportunity to experience a new science curriculum that embraces problem based learning strategies, an updated STEAM lab, our Career Readiness program and over 15 new elective classes in the middle and high schools.  Each of these new
opportunities will continue to enhance our journey down the Path to Excellence.

As the year begins, I look forward to creating goals with all of our students, staff and community for this upcoming school year.  Please feel free to contact me anytime with any questions, comments or concerns at kesia.mccoy@fairfieldlocal.org.

TOGETHER we will accomplish AMAZING things.

Go LIONS!
