Home Learning Expectations


REVISED - MAY 1, 2020

Governor DeWine announced that the Ohio Department of Health will extend its order to keep schools closed for the remainder of this school year.    As a result, all Fairfield Local students will continue their education with home learning instruction. The learning will continue through a series of structured activities that are teacher directed, student implemented and assessed for progress. All home learning activities will be available in an e-Learning format and a printed copy format.  Please click the box below for full outline and instructions.

Special Education/Student Services: 

  • Students receiving services under an Individualized Education Plan or 504 plan will receive accommodations or modifications to assignments as appropriate under the student’s IEP. 

  • The Student Services Department will continue to hold meetings with parents concerning the review of IEPs that are due for review. The parents will be contacted by the Special Services Department to schedule meetings as appropriate. This will only be offered on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursdays from 8am to 11am.

  • Students who receive services from a Reading Specialist will receive a packet of activities to be completed daily.
     

Part-/Full-time CCP Students:

  • Students receiving educational services from our local colleges are directed to follow the college's guidance.
