Our goal is to provide nutritious, appealing and delicious meal choices to our students and staff in a friendly, clean and inviting environment.
Any student who qualifies for a free lunch will also get a free breakfast!! Don't skip this important meal!!

|Each day, we offer a meat, grain, fruit, vegetable and milk (fat-free chocolate or 1% white). A FULL meal consists of 3 out of the 5 items available.
In addition to the daily breakfast and lunch meals, the following choices are offered:
Students are offered a choice of cereal every day.
Several fruit options are available, in addition to orange juice.
K-4 Lunch: Students can choose a salad, carrot sticks, applesauce or other fresh fruit instead of the menued items.
5-12 Lunch: Salad bar is available as a side vegetable, or as a meal option (must include meat and grain choices). Jamwiches, Turkey Sandwiches and Pizza are offered daily as an entree option. There are also ala-carte choices including yogurt, cheese sticks, granola bars and other healthy snacks.
Do you qualify for Free or Reduced Price Meals?
Fairfield Local Schools participates in the National School Lunch Program and offers free or reduced meal prices to those who qualify.
To apply for free or reduced price meals, complete the application and return to the school. There is a link to the form to the right (->) or in the offices.
If your child qualifies for the school meals program, your family may qualify for free health coverage. Click here for information on "HEALTHY START, HEALTHY FAMILIES".
-- No more than 2 charges on the meal accounts are allowed at a time. If a child has 2 charges and does not have lunch money, they will be given a peanut butter sandwich and a milk to substitute for their lunch. Breakfast will not be served to students with 2 charges and no money.
Paying for Meals
-- Cash or checks can be sent in with your child. Please place in an envelope with your child's name and "Meal Money" on the outside of the envelope. Checks should be made payable to "Fairfield Local Schools".
Fairfield Local Schools offers an on-line meal payment program that allows parents to:
- view your child's account balance any time
- see what your child is purchasing in the cafeteria
- set-up automatic low-balance email reminders
NOTE: A service fee of $2.50 per transaction will be applied to your credit card.

To file a program complaint of discrimination, complete the USDA Program Discrimination Complaint Form, (AD-3027) found online at: http://www.ascr.usda.gov/complaint_filing_cust.html, and at any USDA office, or write a letter addressed to USDA and provide in the letter all of the information requested in the form.
